Drought is Over

Hi everyone,

Until this past weekend, I had not bought any new knives for about 3 months

Finally, something new to share. This one was made by James Howarth, Sheffield about 1900 or so. The blade has some staining but snaps and 1/2 stops like new. The gnarly stag (not Sandbar) has a reddish tinge and is in excellent condition. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.

Hey, S-K...
I was told the other day that it is against the law to carry a pocket knife in the U.K. Is that true???

HI CCBill, that is not true. I am not a lawyer and the law is a little fuzzy but here is my understanding. One can not normally carry a knife with a blade over 3 inches long. There are exceptions where it is justified, i.e. while hunting, fishing, required for work e.g. a chef. I'll look into it further. Switch blades or button release types are definitely illegal
