American Shear and Knife Co. Made well before 1960 and possibly before 1900.It has steel bolsters, liners and pins. Also the shield is steel which is very unique.

That’s a beautiful old piece there ::tu:: ::tu::
Have never seen a steel shield. Like the grind on the blade .

Everything is perfect! Decent snap, closed nicely, no slop or wiggle. Fit looks and feels like she just came out of the store. Even the square carbide lamp wrench is crisp around the corners.

A friend of mine and his wife went on vacation a couple weeks ago. He brought this to me last week!!! I know there’s a 40 year or so span on these being made. Anyone have any idea where this might be in that time span by looking at the photos?? Thanks for any help.

Thanks Ike and John for your comments ::handshake:: He brought back a Terrier the summer before Covid. He wouldn’t tell me what it cost and wouldn’t take a penny from me. This time I got him to take some money for the VF. Definitely better than the t-shirt Ike.
