Webster wuz kinda of a bust for knives for me , all I found of interest was a book an a bag ot candy. Lots of zombie killers and such. Most of the good stuff Scott got or I didn't need or sumpin.
Found a few at Bevilles up the road that tickled my fancy.

Bevilles Corner is a lot easier on my old knees. The most memorable find there was an unsharpened Unkle Henry 167 filet knife w/sheath for $5.

I am Farmer, that bottom knife is a col.coon made by queen I'm thinking, its got a crack in the handle that's hard to see in that picture but it seems stable.

this blade is hand forged. I got this from the maker. It fits my hand perfect.

Not sure how old the kit is but my friend I went to see gave it to me.

I understand and to be truthful the handles on this one are not matched very well and they are really rough in your hand. I bought it from my friend as a favor (he's trying to sell my woodburning art) and I am considering changing them out for dark brown wood handles. I just hope I can get the S&W shield out of the horn without damaging it.

I think you have a great knife there. I like that size trapper Good luck with the new dark brown wood handles. I have several S&W folders and a few trappers and stockmen with natural wood handles or bone. I collected S&W paraphernalia for quite a few years. I always liked the brand ever since I was a kid .... back in the "olden times" ...

Dan thanks! The fixed blade is hand forged by a maker in Arizona. I bought it and a couple of others from him and I might end up buying a couple more... funds withstanding... The fish knife is made in Japan (70's maybe?) with bone scales...a nice little piece
