Rizzuto Estileto w/ Wood Handle??

One of these things is not like the other.
Can’t find any other Rizzies with wood handles. Replacement? The font size is also smaller on the wood handle version, tho the knife itself is smaller. Also says “Stainless Steel”

Anyone ever see one of these ? Different era?

Could have been rescaled.

looks rescaled to me but really good job , the bottom pin is brass and Rizzutos usually have a stainless pin there so this makes me think it was re-scaled , im no expert i learn more every day .

From the size of the button-hole I'd say rescale.

This looks to be rehandled. Maybe sometimes in the 1970s or 1980s. I love the Japanese knives
