KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY

Sorry but it’s definitely not an original NYK hammer brand knife . Handles are the first tell tale , incorrect jigging .
Probably made in the last 20 years .

That one is puzzling to me: it looks like a Frost Cutlery imported knife, I do not believe that they use the Hammer Brand stamp. They do own a lot of old brand names, but I cannot find that one on their website.
It is definitely a newer reproduction knife, and from the look I am guessing that it was made in Pakistan.
I wish that I had better news for you, and more definitive answers too.

My haul from yesterday at the flea market. Strangely, over the last 3 months there was hardly a knife worth even picking up to look at, then this month these. I guess that's why I still go. Top to bottom, like new Olsen OK camper knife (looks just like a Kamp King), Queen steel #61 stockman, Case XX 6207 dogleg jack, Sabre Solingen 220 half congress, and a Western 426 stockman that needs a little work.

Made a trip down to Keller to see my friend with the antique booth and I ended up with two blades.
The first one is a Falkner 420 Stainless leather handle worth around $25. I gave him a $1, fare exchange
for the work I did on his Kabar. The second one is a machete that appears to have been fabricated from
a John Deere mower blade and had a handle on it at one time. I'm going to clean it up and fashion a
new handle for it. I'll also post this over in the repair thread.

I don't have my newest acquisition as it is still in the mail. However, I am sure you all have seen a similar. It is a Kutmaster Purina promotion knife. Fairly common. The cool thing about this one is that it is mint, unsharpened in the original box.

I was happy to find it. I just wish there was more of the blade left, I think it has the 1921-24' tang stamp, so it ain't no spring chicken
