Bryan,El Lobo;

Bet even more would join if Fox and Dana would agree to look into the allegation of Red Hill being less than on the up and up. Might make for interesting reading. What do you think?

1000 members...wow!

Hey, next April Fools day lets all log on at once and crash the server!

Okay maybe not.

P.S. Speaking of a thousand, I notice Bill is closing in on 1000 posts. That's pretty cool too.

Hi everyone. Just a quick congratulations to Bryan and the rest of the members for reaching the 1000 mark. What a fantastic site. 007 is a wuss compared to Fox and Barron von Schtage. The three of us may be back to resolve this SandBar issue once an for all. I can't believe the thread now involves a giant Salmon. Are you sure that is not a shape-shifting Sandbar? Scully.

Wow. It doesn't seem like very long ago that AAPK only had a handfull of members.

You guys have really made this a great discussion board. The knowlege and willingness of everyone to share and help is unbelievable.

There is not a better group of people anywhere IMO.

I am proud to be involved. ::tu::

Lots of good people here and more information than could ever be printed in
any book. This forum got me started collecting knives again, something that I haven't for 25 years. I wish I had some of the old Case knives that I had 30 years ago. They were a lot easier to come by then.

Well, I single handedly dropped our membership back under 1000... :(

I had to clean out all the spammers and old inactive accounts. Hope to get back up to the big leagues again soon ::tu::

I may be new to the membership, BUT--
I have collected firearms and knives since the late 40s.
When I got started I ordered old Colt Gen 1 SSA by mail and
picked up Civil War knives for way less than a $1.oo.
Look forward to talking!

Post by Mossdancer »

Hey poolman & SK;
Its a bit earlier 1850 but they were probably used in Civil War also. I think its a foot officers sword.
