Kinfolks fixed knife& sheath

I have a Kinfolks fixed blade knife and sheath with the tang stamp...... Kinfolks USA... from the 1927...pg. 151 in Goins Encyclopedia
This knife has been used but in very good condition for it's age...... This knife is in the time- period. for use in WW2
I would like more information on this knife

Your knife is a WW2 model that was sold in on base PX stores. It is the more common version, Kinfolks made an identical knife without the fuller which is rare. The sheath you have the knife in is not the one it left the factory in, it is a replacement. Your knife is a good user, in it's well worn condition it doesn't have a lot of collector value.

Thanks Gunsil.... I thought the sheath might have been replaced and the knife is well worn...I'd never heard the term fuller I had to look it up
I always heard that was called the blood groove...I think the knife is very well constructed and feels good in the hand.....A good one to carry and use!!

This knife is mint and you can see the stamp very well it has the 1927 stamp.
Can't tell if the numbers are 1919 or 6161

Wow... Here is another Kinfolks knife I really forgot I had but it seems to be a very cheaply made knife
Could it be a second-line knife made for boy's and what time period do you think it??
It would be nice to hear from someone who knows more about the knife!!

This one is called an "Outers Knife".
I believe they came out during the depression. They were less expensive due to the construction.
A number a companies had them.
I've seen Remington, Case, Kinfolks, Imperial and others.
I really like the pattern and carry a Remington occasionally.
