Very cool pictures dog and John.

The 4th picture in this group could almost pass for a Gulf coast beach picture if you hadn't told us the story.

Just took these cherry blossom pictures outside of my building. Wish the sky was blue but it's looking like rain now.

Awesome pics John!
I have a redbud, hopefully not a deadbud that has yet to bloom.
I think technically it may be a Hawthorne.

Found some morels today. I think with these 19 and the ones in my freezer from last year, I'll have just enough to make some morel, leek and potato soup, finally!

Re: Outdoorsman Thread
The spring Bluefish run has begun in our area (southern end of the Outer Banks), water temps rising now. Spanish Mackerel soon (can’t wait). Caught five in about 30 minutes fishing at Fort Macon State park this past Thursday evening. It was just getting started when I had to leave, park gate closes at 7:00 pm. This picture was my first one, a little guy at about 12”, the best one I caught was 15”, kid near me caught one about 18 - 19” Guy on the other side of me caught a decent size skate - he was careful getting it back into the water. Let the fun begin! OH

Re: Outdoorsman Thread
A few pics of recent hikes.
Every year I put a 500mile goal for my self but keep missing.
This year looks the best as I have 125miles so far and am doing a 286mile hike starting in May. Going from the Pa-NY line thru Pa to the Ohio-Pa line. Should be 4-5 weeks on the trail. Hopefully my knees and hips hold out!!

Wish me luck
!!

Thanks Scott me and my daughter had a great few days away , sadly the evening of the last night the winds picked up so we head home as I’ve been there before when your tarp becomes a sail and flys away
