In wintertime I tend to carry a Neck-Knife more often than in the summer as multiple layers of clothing make it more comfortable for me. Over the years I HAVE accumulated a few. I probably could get by with just one... just like I could eat just one potato chip (or drink one beer ).
I used to when I had a Gerber Frisco Shiv that was designed by Blackie Collins. It had a lever latch to keep it in the sheath upside down. Unfortunately I traded the knife away for something, kick kick myself

Noooo! I know the feeling I have done it time and time again,,,
Here is a Rich Greenwood* neck-knife that I bought from him several years ago. It is a super solid piece.
*Rich Greenwood is a local blade smith in my town that gained national fame as a two time finalist on the History Channel's Forged in Fire TV show. He has a blacksmith/knife forging school in Tucson, AZ.

Here's a few I have accumulated.
Knice collection! The Ka-Bar with a handle that looks like a wrench is very appealing to me.
USN 2000-2006
Adaptable and (usually) affable knife enthusiast, unsure of his knife collecting destination but enjoying the journey
Case taste, Rough Ryder budget

Nice!
R.R. I have wanted to get 1 of these Ka-Bars for a while, (The Ka-Bar with a handle that looks like a wrench) I have had one in the hand and I really like it. I am waiting for a used one at an "EDC" price point
I have one somewhere but I've never carried it. Bought it years ago, it is a cheapie but I don't remember where I put it. Probably with everything else I can't find.

If I only had one neck-knife, I would be in the same boat as you that's why I have so many... %50 or %60 go missing

SInce an Uber Eats driver was mirdered in the area I work as one I now wear a neck knife.
Very cool....made from a file..
Nice Scott! The advantage of a neck knife is that you can draw it pretty fast from a seated position, so I like to carry one on road trips. It is perfect as a back-up when seated in a vehicle. I just picked up two, a CRKT and one also made from a file.

I've had a couple of the Gerber neck knives. They seemed like a good idea at the time, but couldn't get used to something around my neck.
I tend to wear them more in wintertime when I have more heavy clothing on, you don't feel the knife rubbing against you so much...
