Expected shipping time

Apologies if this has already been addressed elsewhere, but I have searched and have not found anything. I feel like I remember seeing that there was standard 3-5 day shipping timeline expected for sellers. I looked for it in the FAQ section and Q&A thread in the sellers forum. Just wanted to make sure.

I have never heard this before or remember reading it. If you are looking for best practices, I think 3 to 5 day expected shipping is excessive, unless there are holidays, mail holidays or Saturdays involved and then you have no choice when a knife is bought on a Friday and there is no shipping until Tuesday.
