What a lovely knife, P.D., congratulations on finding that one! ::handshake::
Not being familiar with that knife, I'm assuming the blade release for opening/closing is the tab in front of the top bolster "ear", or is that lever used as a picklock tab? ::shrug::
I think I have the manual version! ::hmm::

thank you. you push the tab seen at the bolster with your thumb while having your palm/wrist facing up. it's a little tricky. I don't think that manual knife is related, it looks to be much different.

Thanks for that info, P.D., and I agree the knife I posted is not related to yours in any way, I just thought they looked similar in shape and covers.
