Henckels by Boker post them here
Been searching the forums for awhile now and am surprised that there isn’t a place to post these beautiful Henckels by Boker pocket knives. I believe it was 1975 that Henckels contracted with Boker to produce pocket knives for them. Anyone that has handled both Henckels made by Boker and Boker knives can immediately discern the difference in these knives. It’s like a Queen Cutlery knife compared to a Queen Schatt and Morgan or Queen Robeson knife. The Henckels are made of premium materials and the fit and finish is better than Boker. Here are a few of my premium stag Henckels by Boker.
Feel free to post yours here. If in doubt about whether it’s a Henckels made prior to 1975 or one made by Boker after 1975, feel free to post them here and ask for clarification. I’m no expert so hopefully others will chime in.

Very nice group!
I believe that all of the ones that you posted were made by Boker in the 1990's. At that time SMKW had gotten the rights to market pocket knives with the JA Henckels trademark and logo and had Boker make them with premium stag and bone handles.
Boker did make knives directly for Henckels in the 70's but in my experience all of those had smooth wood handles and had different markings as compared to these later ones. There seem to be very few of those around.
I remember buying a lot of them directly from SMKW in the 1990s.

Thanks Steve, I had read that SMKW had been behind a lot of these Henckels from the 90’s. Boker did a great job on these.
Thanks Jeepergeo and dsutton. Look forward to more of these great knives being posted.

Here are some more Henckels made by Boker. The last two are either early Boker made Henckels or late made by Henckels knives. Not sure about these two. I do know they are older version.

A beautiful selection of Bokers, Mark. Clarification: are Henckels still being made by Boker?

Thanks Garry, I am not sure. I think I read that Henckels isn’t having any pocket knives produced anymore. But someone else more versed can probably answer that definitively. It would be nice if they were, given the high quality that they have produced.

Well, I can't say that what follows is definitive but I did spend considerable time yesterday checking many sites and leads for Henckels. I came up with zilch. So at this point I am concluding that Henckels is out of the traditional pocket knife business. Too bad. They of course remain a formidable brand in Kitchen Cutlery. If they are truly out of pocket knife production I think this would increase their value.

That’s what I thought Garry. I agree about the increase in value. I’ve seen it in the 5 years that I have been selling here on AAPK that the prices keep on increasing on them already. I think it’s a good bet that they will continue to increase. Especially on beauties like that whittler you show in your last post. I think I might have sold that to you, but not sure. These with the premium stag are really going up in value.

So does Henckel's still make their own kitchen knives?
To those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected ones will never know.

Rick, the Henckels made in Solingen Germany are still made by Henckels. They have their international knives made mostly in China. They have a nice line called Miyabi that are made in Japan. I have some of those and personally I like them better than my Henckels made in Solingen Germany. Very high quality knives. Not a fan of the ones made in China. They just seem cheap to me.RedRaiderRick wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 3:37 pm So does Henckel's still make their own kitchen knives?

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. That’s one of my favorites that Henckels did, the 5 blade canoe. I’ve never found another maker who made a 5 blade canoe. Henckels did it right with these.
