Another from the Bunga Forge
Hi guys,
finally got around to the final stages of oiling the scales on another Bushcraft Knife.
This one is made from 26C3 Carbon Steel, I used Apple wood from my parents garden for the scales, this time I listened to some of you guys about pin placement and only using three Brass Pins, the wood has come up really well and I have an unlimited source for this so maybe you'll see more of this handle material from me movoing forward.
I also decided to attempt a full mirror finish on all of the blade and tang, but not sure how great this will really end up.
Anyway I'm sure your bored of reading and will want to see the Knife, I will have to tweak the bevels of the cutting edge slightly and give a good final polish, aswell as a few more coats of oil to the scales but TBH it probably won't look much different than what you can see now.
I may add more photos once the scales have dried out but I am limited right now as is still wet.
As usual I'd really appreciate honest opinions on this one, good or bad, it all helps my journey, so don't be shy, I will not be offended.
Cheers
JT

Very nice!
I like the blade shape and bevels. The mirror finish is very nice.
And the apple wood looks great on it.
Congratulations!
