That knife is authentic.

It is a variation of the 31048 "slim trapper" pattern that collectors refer to as the "florist's knife". Schrade and Camillus also made florist's knife patterns but the patterns were a bit different.

Case took their standard 31048 pattern and made it with a short sheepfoot master blade and a bail. The 31048 Sh R was in the Case line during the XX era 1950's to 1960's and was discontinued as of 1/1/67.

Here's one of Schrade's versions. I wonder why the seller of the Case is not showing the whole blade??

I should have done some research first. That is an actual pattern and it's referred to as a florist knife. I'd never heard of it or seen one before now.
