I bought this one off Ebay, but I can't find out anything about who made it or when it was made.
I found another one on Ebay and two more on Worthpoint that are the same model and also with bone handles.
I suspect this was a one off contract job.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Looks like you stumped everybody. I can't find that mark in any of my books. It's a nice piece and in decent condition. Good luck with it. J.O'.

Great looking knife. It sure has the "German look" to it. I'm not home to check my books but I assume Goin's and Blades both have nothing?

I have a couple knives by BONSA who made a lot of different marks. They look similar.. Levine or Price have no mention of your mark. J.O'.

Sorry, nothing in any of my reference books on S. Nessel, including Carter's 655 page book on German knives and swords.

I appreciate the effort. The search is as fun as the solution to me.
Thanks again!

There are a number of NESSEL (not "S. NESSEL) razors listed on the French eBay. I've show one below. Probably made by the same maker, as the razor is also marked Solingen. By the way, the tag line on the blade translates as "Made for the Tough Beard."
Poking around the websites, forums, and books dedicated to collecting razors might turn up some info on S. Nessel.
