Germany "UNITED CUTLERY Cᴏ̲" Knives.

Post by New_Windsor_NY »

Very recently, this pocket knife arrived in a large group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT purchase the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It is a UNITED, one blade, one tang stamp, 2 3/4" closed, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp reads "UNITED (over) CUTLERY Cᴏ̲ (over) GERMANY" The main handle side says "OUR - BOY" and has an embossed image of a boy. The other handle side also says "OUR - BOY" and also has an embossed image of a boy. Per GOINS, UNITED CUTLERY Cᴏ̲ GERMANY, c 1908-1922. This is my first, UNITED CUTLERY Cᴏ̲ GERMANY pocket knife that does NOT have a glass cutter tool and or a corkscrew. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. The main blade has a crisp half stop, also a good opening and closing snap. It received a minor cleaning.
I took some pictures and here it is.

Here is my other, previously posted (under the Germany - Multi Tool With Glass Cutter topic), UNITED pocket knife. It is a UNITED, two blades, two tools (a corkscrew and a glass cutter), one tang stamp (on the secondary blade), 3 5/8" closed, all metal (except for the two "tortoise" handle scales), multi tool, pocket knife. It is also a cigar cutter. The secondary blade front tang stamp says, "UNITED (over) CUTLERY Cᴏ̲ (over) GERMANY" Per GOINS, UNITED CUTLERY Cᴏ̲ GERMANY,
c 1908-1922. Contrary to how it looks, overall, this pocket knife is still in GOOD condition.

A couple of days ago, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT purchase the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It is a UNITED, two blades, one tang stamp, 2 13/16" closed, one spring, all metal, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp reads "UNITED (over) CUTLERY Cᴏ̲ (over) GERMANY" The main handle side has an ornate design, along with the embossed images of three horse heads. The other handle side also has an ornate design, along with the embossed images of three horse heads. Per GOINS...UNITED CUTLERY Cᴏ̲ GERMANY, c 1908-1922. This is my second, UNITED CUTLERY Cᴏ̲ GERMANY pocket knife, that does NOT have a glass cutter tool and or a corkscrew. The main blade (SHARP!) has a soft half stop, a good opening snap and a good closing snap. The secondary blade (SHARP!) has a soft half stop, a good opening snap and a good closing snap. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. I did give it a VERY minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

I find your first knife very attractive, Skip, your sommelier not so much, and your fob I'm neutral, but that's just my opinion I'm sure others will like them all. ::tu::
