Hello Bryan, how do I add a hyperlink into my sales listings in my store. I
tried searching online for how to do it and the coding didn't work right.
I'm wondering if you know how to do it.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards.

Re: Adding a hyperlink in text of sales listings
Hi Rob,
Currently, our software does not allow for the inclusion of hyperlinks within product descriptions. This has been the case since the inception of our online stores. The initial reasoning behind this was to maintain a focused and distraction-free description space, free from any form of advertising. While I'm open to discussing potential changes to this policy, I must note that it's unlikely to be a high-priority item on our agenda in the immediate future.
Best,
Bryan

Re: Adding a hyperlink in text of sales listings
It stems from my desire to let people follow my store. I have the full link of my seller home page (not sure that's the correct name) where people can follow me. I thought it meant the person would get a notification when I added a new item. Maybe it's referring to them following me in the forum and getting a notification when I post there. I don't want to hyperlink to another retail option. I sometimes post information links including the full link in my sales listing text as another example. I try to educate collectors in general and my buyers about some of the knives I sell that are unique or less commonly known.
I asked about including the option for customers browsing our listings to follow our stores and be able to sign up to an email list within our listings. Your responses in both threads seemed encouraging about getting those things done. It's been a couple years since I posted the initial ideas.

Re: Adding a hyperlink in text of sales listings
Hi Rob,
Thank you for bringing up these valuable suggestions again. I understand your desire to add hyperlinks to your listings and to allow customers to follow your store and sign up for email notifications. I think these are excellent ideas.
However, as usual, we've had to prioritize other critical tasks over the last couple of years. The time I've had available to allocate to AAPK has been consumed by the boring stuff.
The good news is that I'll have more time to dedicate to AAPK going forward. This should allow us to start tackling some of the features that have been on the back burner, including your suggestions.
Your ideas are on our radar, and I'm optimistic that we'll be able to make progress on them soon.
Best,
Bryan
