1508 layers

hey one more done, This knife I like for a great work knife the cutting edge is 5" long and is 1 5/8 wide .and 1/4 thick the guard is brass and the handle is horn, pins are 1/4 SS .
I started off with 5-250 layer billets with 4-15n20 the billets where left over from other knives they where about 3" long 1 1/4 wide left overs i put some 15n20 in beween each then folded once . you need a looking glass to see all the lines.LOL a bit much but can't think of a better way of using the left overs most of the time i save them for guards or Darci to play with she likes to make small knives.
Hope your not getting tired of me yet ,i still have about 10 more to finish before the 25th.finishing all the knives that have been sitting on the shelf ,this finish work is the hard part for me. making the blade is FUN finishing is work

Sweet knife!!

As for finish work? THAT is what will make a knife either a piece of sharp steel or something to be loved and cherished. It is the hardest part on the most basically insignificant stuff, however, like I said the finish work will make or break a knife. You already knew that. I can tell by the work you do.

I really like the look of that damascus with the thicker blend lines between the billets you combined....
