The well has been pretty dry for me also... until a little luck just came my way. I will say I get tired of driving around and around and coming up with nothing most of the time....

Terrific haul there Dog ! I never run into anything like that. Looks like there’s a couple of Queen Winterbottom bone in there as well.

Flea market, estate sale finds from the weekend...

Looks like an old Bridgeport Axe you got there, nice find!

That's what I thought til I got home and saw the Made in Germany stamp

Dang dog that almost looks like a "Scott haul" loving them Queens. Nice haul Paul if that Gerber is like mine be careful deploying the pliers it will bite you.

As they say "Great minds find the same stuff" or something like that... ... I really like the scales on your Queen, a very nice contrast between the dark and light shades.

They both should both have been made by Queen, in their factory at 507 Chestnut St, Titusville, PA. My knife is stamped '81 on the tang (1981) and yours was most likely made before 2018 (and not a recent one made in China). In 2018, having produced high quality cutlery using traditional methods for 96 years, Queen Cutlery closed its doors for good. Queen also made knives for other companies such as Ontario and Moore Maker.

I think that one has opportunities to be cleaned up.

I don't know how practical it is in real use, but a lot of knife makers are using a Lexan-like stuff called Ultem that's supposedly pretty tough for being translucent yellow. I'd just slap some scrap wood from my cutoff bin, which is my plan for a couple of shell handles that lost the shell part. Heck, the one I'm doing it to is a doppelganger of yours.
