Short Line Camillus #9
I don't know why Im attracted to these grand daddy Barlows, they're not a very practical knife but for some reason I seem to be drawn to them. This one is a short line version. I just did a mild cleanup and replaced the badly worn handles with some smooth sunset bone from Culpepper. I left the blade as I found it. Its got a little loss but no too bad for a knife its age.

Jeff, that really looks good to me.
I have several of those by several different mfgs. and have never even tried to carry one. My draw to them is probably related to the size as I dearly love folding hunters. I've don't recall seeing a Grand Daddy Barlow with 2 blades. One with 2 blades could become very practical in the deer woods.
You sure have restored a pile of old knives in the last few years. I'm really tempted to take this special 858 Schrade and use it as an EDC but it's just too nice to ding up! Great work as always!

Another fine job Jeff. I have several of those Granddads. There is an appeal to them.

Nice save on that Barlow, I can see why you wanted to do it.
