Curious, what is the 2 PIN 2 DOT referring to? I looked a picture up and see the 112 with four rivets in the covers, I'm guessing that has something to do with it?

Correct. The 2 PIN refers to the number of rivets and the 2 DOT is the number of dots on the blade tang.

Very good question. Now you have me wondering.

To the best of my knowledge, and I might be wrong, all of the rivets are pins. I believe the original poster is looking for a 112 with only 2 rivets but again, I could be wrong.
