Older Case Fixed Blade

Post by lgdoolittle »

Just picked up a pair of fixed blade Case knives. I can find very little information on this pair. Can anyone help me? The curved is a Case 509-6. I know it's a skinner but age is difficult. The second is an inch longer with no discernable tang stamp.

These would be what I would refer to as “kitchen” knives or butcher knives . The straight blade is a butcher knife and the curved one a skinner. Carbon steel and hard to find better using knives.
You can always get more money, good old knives are hard to find.

Nature abhors a vacuum, me I hate a dull knife.
