How many is too many?

Old Sheffield blades are very smooth shavers when correctly sharpened.

Wow Thanks for sharing . Thats a lot of pretty right there. The blade etchings are really neat and interesting. All those look on the older side too! The mother of pearl pair is just stunning!

I have always been amazed that there were so many companies making razors and so many different handles and etchings etc. I realize its like anything once the factory was running and you had a system you could turn them out and even private label etc. But still amazing imo

There was a lot of variety.
All the razors I posted above are 1870 or earlier. The no name stub tail is about the same age as yours.
