Been Bullet Bit

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Who makes these new Remingtons? I have one of each of the older Camillus-made ones. Great knives.

Nice 2023 and 2024 Bullets. How do you like them? I've been close to making them my first 2024 purchases. Thanks!
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

I am not certain who made them, I believe there is a thread on that discussion - I am not that good yet, hopefully someday.

I mean, I like them - they are not going to be a carry knife. I have three grandsons (so far) and I am just putting a few different small collection of different stuff to pass to them someday. Hopefully one of them likes knives. ::pray::

The barlow was made by Bear and Son.

Consensus on the last few have been Bear & Son products. I just got the R693 Hawkbill and was generally pleased with Bear & Sons execution this time.

Bear knifes can be really well put together (or not), they have capability but need to work on consistency

REALLY wish SMKW would give us some limited run, vintage Remington pattern knifes, made by other premium makers like GEC (GEC made the 2021 Bullet)

I guess I am not sure - does SMKW determine which Remington Bullets are made, I mean I just bought my 2022 Bullet from Red Hill Cutlery because SMKW was out of it. Who is the decision maker on them and then do other distributors have to purchase them through.... who ::shrug:: I am really confused.

I could have swore SMKW owned that brand but I just noticed that the long dead Remington Cutlery page appears to be active again, bragging about this waterfowler design for the new Bullet knife

I apparently can’t keep track of all this licensing and brand ownership moves
