A knife that has a lot of character and likely experiences that can only be imagined. Marked on the brittle sheath “SHOMI NORD FRONT 1942-43” as best I can make it out.

Sometimes Google is your friend… :D

The “H” looks more like a “U” in one of your pics. This makes sense, as “Suomi” is Finnish for Finland…..

Two beauties that I found at the Lewisburg PA show last Saturday. Robeson bolster lock and a Schrade Walden 861 that looks factory fresh. Steve B.

Went to a little gunshow today. The fellow cut me a super price on this pile of project blades. Two are Damascus of uncertain parentage.
