Latama/Frank B

Post by johns7076 »

Yesterday was pretty good at my house for me. My wife, not impressed! Mail carrier left the Frank B in my mailbox and 10 minutes later UPS dropped the Latama on my front porch. Frank B is 11" Honey Horn from a friend in Slidell, Latama is 11" Mother-of-Pearl. First knife I have order from Walt and the service was incredible. Ordered last Sunday arrived yesterday, Thursday. Nice presentation and tube of his oil included. It was expensive but I have wanted a MOP for years. My fighting is not the best, should have taken them outside, but rainy here.

I’m jealous ! Real mother of pearl? That material is real Hard to work with I’m told. My wife would have given me the silent treatment after making me feel like dirt. We have been married 43 years though.

I have a friend here who says his wife serves him "hot tongue and cold shoulder" for dinner when she is not please with a situation.

Both are gorgeous knives, but that MOP Latama is over the top. Congratulations! If I could just play with them for a few days.............. ::ds::

Outstanding knives, John, both of them, but your Latama is over the top!
Lucky you, my friend!
