After seeing some of the guitar collections here, maybe I should rethink calling myself a collector.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2024 11:38 pmYes sir! Ahh, collector makes more sense! I too have that affliction! That's a great old Case, and it came to you in a wonderful way..Nice to meet you!BTW , there is actually a music sub-forum. Another member, "Ridgegrass" is a big time collector and player.

I feel like that when looking at the knife collections on AAPK! I have a pretty good bunch, but it doesn't come close to some of them. As long as you're having fun, that's what matters!Gtrclktr-351 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 1:38 pmAfter seeing some of the guitar collections here, maybe I should rethink calling myself a collector.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2024 11:38 pmYes sir! No name, Damascus with smooth bone; brass liners, bolsters and pins; file worked back springs and bladed probably from Pakistan

Thanks. I know a lot of collectors would consider one, maybe both, to be "junk knives'.
The Jet-Aer was the first, and still one of few locking Barlows I've ever seen. And as you said, the Pakistani Damascus is a "looker".

Is the Lionsteel on the far left the one you customized with ivory?

Re: Barlows does anyone else love them
You have fine taste in Barlow's, John, I particularly like the white Case with the black Case a close 2nd, could we please see the white model with the blade deployed, and where did you get it if you don't mind saying? Thx!

Cool pics jmh, loved scrolling through. Nice backgrounds, poses, cutlery, and I really like the roof shot. Good stuff all around.

Thanks bud, glad you like seeing them. That Tidioute is one of my faves bone wise. And it has the fluted bolster, etch, long pull and the Northfield trim not often seen on the Tidioute line. And the action and snap are so sweet. Tune in this week for the rest of them. Have a few more I plan to post next few days. Thanks again.

JMH, that’s a fine assortment of Cases, and the Utica’s a looker as well!
