Bulldog Peacock

Post by Scales »

Hello, first post here.
I picked up this knife on ebay, and I'd like to get opinions on whether or not it's real. I don't have any other Bulldog knives to compare the workmanship with, and this one has pretty bad interference between the main blade and the liner. Otherwise it seems ok.

Let me know what you think, and thanks in advance.

Bulldog is a quality knife. But some of the handles are celluloid.

Bulldog definitely had a run of various knives with that full color Peacock etch, and with those Imitation Abalone Celluloid handle covers.

Looks like a Bulldog to me. I suspect its misalignment occurred subsequent to its manufacture. At least I have never encountered one in that condition.
My purchases of Bulldogs are limited to NOS, essentially mint.
