Help. I have a mint CASE'S XX TESTED HATCHET and the hatchet /knife combo sheath. Does anyone have any information or pictures of the two and what is the correct knife to go with it? What would a fair value be for it? Below are some pictures of the hatchet and sheath.
I also have a newer mint CASE XX HATCHET and the hatchet /knife combo sheath. Same question. Any pictures or information on the correct hunting knife and the value?
Thank you,

Re: CASE'S XX TESTED HATCHET COMBO
This may sound strange, but according to Jim Sargent the dating system used on axes/hatchets is very different than what was used on pocket knives. Axes/hatchets marked CASE'S TESTED XX are actually 'newer' than axes/hatchets marked CASE XX. That means they are opposite of the pocket knives.

Hi Gary,
I have one of each and for the life of me I can't find any information except tidbits from Ebay.... I'm hoping to find information on the fixed blade hunting knives and the hatchets. I would really like to know what is the correct knife to go with the hatchet??? Does Mr. Sargent have any reference guides or print material on this subject?
Thanks for replying,

Your set is a 380 Combination set - the knife you need for it is a 316-5, a relatively common pattern.

Thank you. That is what my other hatchet set has for the knife. Now I can complete this one too.
