1084 steel, G10 Liners, Pistashio and blue Micarta Scales, Brass Pins and Lanyard hole.
This time I did the normalising process rather than heat to non magnetic and quench, followed by two X two hour tenpering in the oven, I have to say that I have found that it has made the blade much harder, using my rockwell files I can say this one is about 61-62 HRC, now of course this takes mych more time but I think it's worth it.
Would love to hear what you guys think about this knife, and your views on the heat treatment processing.
Cheers
JT

I love it! I think the 108x steels are great for a hard using knife, the shape is very utilitarian with very nice lines, and I’m a big fan of G10 as a handle material. And to top it all off, you gave it a very well defined sharpening notch. I like a sharpening notch on a knife.

That's one stout looking knife!
I don't know much regarding heat treatment of blades, but I do know I like the look of your creation.
