Summer Tanagers are fairly common in my area but I seldom get a picture, got lucky on this one.

Nice picture, Ike. Beautiful bird.
These proud parents were showing off the little ones at the pond yesterday.

Great pictures Ike & Joe!
No picture but had a Baltimore Oriole checking in on the grape jelly this evening. Had 2 pair of them as regulars last year.

Ike we have them some around here this time of the year. Beautiful birds.
Joe, love those baby geese.
Boji, if you put some peanut butter out with that grape jelly, I may come to your bird feeder. We don't have Baltimore Orioles very often here.

Great pictures
I have seen birds on this thread that I would have otherwise never seen.

Very nice pictures, Floyd, especially like the GBH shot.
We had heavy early morning rain here today and when it finally ceased, I saw a Red Shouldered Hawk perched on a cable line. It had its' wings partially extended, and drying them "Anhinga style". That may be common for all species, but I don't think that I have ever before seen it from a hawk.

The wind was ruffling the feathers on this Dickcissel, giving it somewhat of a ragged look.

Re: Ornithology (Bird) Thread
Keep the pictures coming, I enjoy seeing all the different birds that I don’t see
I’ve been seeing a bigger variety than ever over the past week or so but sadly I can hardly ever catch a picture.
Did get the Goldfinch checking in And I finally ID this one, would never had guessed female RedWing Blackbird. Looks nothing like the male

Re: Ornithology (Bird) Thread
All these bird pictures are so much fun to look at. I love all the contributions.
I took all these pictures today. It's either feast or famine here in the bird world.
And my favorite: Down The Hatch!
