Wooooowwwww!!! I love stag like that. Gorgeous. ::tu::

Reminded me of this Case Wharncliffe Copperlock that Glenbad rehandled for me around the time I first joined AAPK. Going on ten years and my love for this knife (and Glenn too!) has only grown stronger :D

I'm sure I've probably shown this one previously, but I'm showing it again 'cause it deserves to be seen! ::nod::
I always enjoy seeing Glenn's work.

What a beautiful knife, ~Q~, it reminds me of a couple of Hubertus manual models.
Please read my recent post to Iman in "Knife Photography", it includes yourself. I was actually going to PM you about the subject, but now that I've said what I wanted to say publicly I'll leave it at that.
Great knife, buddy!

I don't like much of the stag I usually see on Parker Cutlery Co knives, but this one is an exception :D

This fixed blade was handmade buy a blacksmith in Hungry. I met him while travelling over there and bought several pieces from him. It has a Damascus blade, with a high carbon edge forge welded to the Damascus. The ram's head pommel was forged by him as well. The stag handles are not the greatest stag I have ever seen, ::paranoid:: but mediocre stage is like a mediocre day fishing ( ::paranoid:: after calling sick ::paranoid:: ). I went to his forge with him and got to watch him at work. He made a knife for me in about 30 minutes, forged right in front of my eyes, then gave it me as a gift ::nod:: A great ( ::paranoid:: maybe the best? ::paranoid:: ) part of the trip.... ::hmm::

The description says "bone stag" However... ::paranoid:: I thought I saw a description somewhere on the SMKW website saying "sambar stag" ::shrug:: Any thoughts out there, ::shrug::

::paranoid:: I am guessing it is actually cattle bone....... which I should know better....

Fabulous GSP. Great pommel for sure. Excellent looking blade, cool makers mark, and the gift story. That was a cool find and trip and memory. Love seeing abd hearing about stuff like that. Wow, that is cool. Thanks for showing it.
