Recently, this multi tool, scout pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, I was VERY pleased to find it in the group or lot of pocket knives. It definitely got added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is an Imperial, one blade, four tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener, a can opener, a punch or awl, and a phillips head screwdriver), one tang stamp, 3 3/8" closed, THREE SPRINGS, multi tool, scout pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "Imperial (with the crown) (over) PROV. R.I." with a vertical "USA" on the right side. The shield says, "BE PREPARED" The main blade has NO half stop. The main blade has NO opening snap and the main blade has NO closing snap. The four tools ALL open, close, and function properly. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did NOT need cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

I picked up this unusual Imperial jack at a fleamarket recently. It has a clip blade and a brass automotive ignition key as the second "blade". The knife would have come new with the key as a blank, this one has been cut for the individual owners vehicle. That would have been kind of handy, until you sold the car. The knife is 2 and 3/4 inches closed, is of shell handled construction. The key is stamped with the number 3061, which would probably denote which vehicle it could be cut to fit. It has the vertical USA tang stamp, 1956-1988.

Going only on the tang stamp it looks like 1920s. I haven't come across a lot of Imperials that old but the pattern and jigging on this knife are so different from the ones I've seen that I'm going to throw a random fact out here without any idea if it's relevant. During that era Kastor was importing knives from Germany under many brand names, including Imperial.

It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it does have some life left in it. It did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is an Imperial, "KAMP-KING", one blade, three tools (a can opener, a cap lifter or bottle opener and a punch or awl), one tang stamp, one tool stamp, 3 3/4" closed, scout or camping, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "Imperial (with crown) (over) PROV. R.I." with a vertical "USA" on the side. The can opener tool front stamp says, "CAN OPENER (over) P.2391732" The shield says, "KAMP-KING" The bail is missing. The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have an OK closing snap. The three tools ALL open, close, and function properly. Overall, this pocket knife is still in FAIR condition. It did need a little bit of a cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

It is an Imperial, two blades, one tang stamp, 2 15/16" closed, two springs, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp reads "Imperial (with the crown) (over) PROV, U.S.A." The main blade does have a VERY CRISP half stop. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade also has a VERY CRISP half stop. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. Even with the minor cosmetic issues on both handle sides, overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did need a VERY minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

The other handle side says, "RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION - BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C." The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The tool does NOT have a half stop. The tool does NOT have an opening snap. The tool does have an OK closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT require any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
