GEC "Ultralight" v2

had a #25 with some mismatched bolsters...



I wanted to build a new frame for it similar to the "Ultralight" easy open I did a while back, but I still wanted to reflect the original look of the knife. My solution was to mimic the grooves in the bolsters with orange G10 bars through the handles

.05 titanium liners
black G10 w/orange inlay
"swelled" filework








I know it's a little "high speed, low drag" compared to my usual fare, but It's grown on me Comments appreciated as always!

so what do you do with the pieces you don't use????
I had an old remington 2 blade converted to one blade
that is now actually usable and looks great, but kinda wish
i had the other blade and old handles, even though they
were prolly junk. just curious..

anything that gets taken off goes into the big box o parts, cause you never know when you might have a need for it

That's a great example of modern industrial design. It's been a real eye-opener to see the work being done by our customizers, and this one has to rank up with the very best. This is really an exceptional combination of cutting edge design and meticulous craftsmanship.

I think your should send a photo to GEC.

Who knows they just might do that look to theirs.

But I am sure the labor cost would increase so much that it would not be feasible.
