TopDog, other traditional knives I like are 2 blade Jacks and 2 Blade Barlows, but I mostly have 1 blade knives.

Khyber 1610 Japan Lockback Wood Handles
- 6 1/2" OAL ... 2 3/4" Stainless Blade ... 3.6 ounces, and feels great in hand for a smaller knife. I like the unique shape.

OK TOPDOG, you win. Since I did name you "King of the Hobo Jungle" you rightly should have the coat. I guess I'll just bring the one I have.. My Technicolor Dream Coat.. I had loaned it to Kramer, but I got it back.

OK TMK, I think I have resolved the infamous "Coat of Consternation situation" thanks to my old buddy Ruddy Ray Moore, AKA Dolemite: The Human Tornado. I'm going to trade some Case XX (from about 1978) folders and a few other items for the pictured coat (made famous in several 75'-78' classic films). I will be looking stylish and cool along with you in your "Kramer Coat" .... While Marco will be looking pretty much like a broke and down on his luck hobo....

I am getting a lot of comfort from the Brisa! I love finding knives from northern Europe, so I happy to learn about Brisa. Well, I just got this Brisa "Kephart" Made in Finland. Has a great Quality feel to it. Thick spine, with walnut handle and red liners. It feels great in my hand Comes with a very nice sheath. I am very happy with this new addition to my "Pile" ....

Thanks for your generous offer, Tony, but I think I have the situation under control. When I saw your picture I recognized the knife right away, but I couldn't remember where I'd seen it before. After some thinking, which REALLY hurt my head BTW, I remembered. It was in an eBay store, "gonewalkaboutau" (no quotations) in Australia.
He had 2 Khyber 1610's listed at one time, but his prices were high and that's why I didn't think I currently own a copy, although I might, (see below) but it seems I should have acted since you have told me they sold for much more than what you paid at auction, so perhaps his prices were justified.
At this point, it's a moot issue since my initial "Monkey-see Monkey-do" rush has cooled off due to me remembering I'm trying to cut-back on my purchases. Now don't get me wrong, if a copy showed up for small money of course I'd jump, it's just my initial "gotta have one" has faded into obscurity. On top of that, I think I have one already buried somewhere in my pile, (see above) and if I find it during an upcoming reorganization I will surely post it.
His stock is low currently, but you might wanted add him to your "Saved Sellers" list and go browsing from time to time, cuz he usually has lots of knives in styles and brands we like.

I checked gonewalkaboutau store, put him in my Saved Sellers, and yes, he has some high prices! However, this may be a good reference point on knives we want to get. Right off the bat, several Japan made were there to eyeball ... good stuff!

Understand "just chillin'" about a knife after that initial rush is over It happens to us all.
