Some recent work

Post by glennbad »

I just finished these up for a customer. The mammoth used was supplied by them, the rest I supplied...

This was an interesting M&G spey that was Schrade made. The original covers were cell, and although they weren't gassing, it was thought best to replace them. We just went with some nice ebony and a federal shield...

Next was the BF Bunny forum knife. I deleted the secondary blade, re-covered it in mammoth, and removed the Bunny etch from the main blade.

Then there was this GEC 85. It had acrylic covers. I replaced them with this mammoth and used a nice bomb shield.

Last is this Charlie Waynorth SFO 93 Lambfoot. The original had been recovered with some dyed burl wood, but the customer wanted some nice stag...

They're all bangers but I'm quite partial to the bare heads. Especially the ebony. Your customers chose wisely.

Beautiful work on all 4. For some reason the GEC strikes me as the best of the lot.

Magnificent work Glenn. All of them are amazing, but the mammoth on that GEC 85 really knocks my socks off! ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

They are all four beautiful knives Glenn, and your craftsmanship is spot-on!
The stag in that Waynorth really cranks my tractor though. You have a gift at working in stag!

Thank for the comments all, I really like that mammoth also. I'd do more with it, if it weren't so pricey...

Great stuff Glen, the 85 and the Bunny knife are fabulous. Never seen a better looker in that pattern. The Waynorth blows the Ebony away. Gorgeous now, great work. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::
