The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Today I decided to use and show this knife some love, my daughter gifted me a couple years ago because I thought
it would be a shame for her to find it unused, on the day of my passing, and wonder what did I even buy this for?
So today I sliced up a few boxes to be taken down to the garbage. Worked very knice too!!!
I think the same way Scott. 99 % of my knives have been used at least a little. I think my family would want
it that way.

What a beautiful knife! I’ve never seen that type of cover with the laser engraved Case logo. What is the handle designation number on that, it doesn’t appear to be like regular 6.5 burnt stag.

Thank You.
Burnt bone. That’s a 6344. And a past Christmas gift from my daughter.

Great looking Pocket Hunter Scott! When I carry multiple knives the smallest gets used the most often. Tiny knives handle opening mail and packages and cutting up recycle very well. The key is carrying them in a small pocket without other stuff in it so they're quick to pull out. While the adults must have given me my elementary school scout/utility knife knife, I do not remember ever getting it or not having it. While being old enough to remember it I was only given one knife. My uncle gave me a Queen slime line trapper while I was a teenager. It's similar to a Case 61048CV. I still have it.
I live on a corner. I got tired after 24 years of people driving through my yard so I put 2 rocks on the corner.
John, I ain't so smart when it comes to doing 'biddness, ... but it looks like you might have missed an opportunity to make a little money on your property instead of putting them there big 'ol rocks there...
