Lube for Automatic & Assist. Open Knives

Post by rwmoss1 »

What do you use or recommend as a lubricant for auto and assisted opening knives? I'm looking for the best and the best for the money. Thanks!

Quick Release was developed for and is sold by Latama for EXACTLY that purpose. You can’t beat it. And when used as directed a little goes a long way.

I'm still a fan of MARVEL mystery oil and just picked up some Hamilton no. 79 and Elgin M56b oil for lubricating watches. Cant wait to try it out. They seem to be the viscosity of whale oil l had once.
