A couple of days ago, my visit to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes the latest resident of the zoo and the latest example to be added to my "South Of The Border" collection. This pocket knife brand is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. It is a PM ATLAS, one blade, one blade/tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), one blade/tool stamp, 3 7/8" closed (not including the bail), two springs, pocket knife. The blade/tool front stamp says, "PM ATLAS" The main handle side has horses on it. The other handle side also has horses on it. The following information regarding PM ATLAS was provided by Jason (jxr1197), in a previous post, under this topic or thread, back on Saturday, May 30, 2020. "PM Atlas (Productos Metalicos Atlas - or Atlas Metal Products) was a business in Monterrey MX that bought knives either from the Associated Spring version of Imperial Mexico or from Cuchilleria Monterrey, maybe both." The main blade does have a CRISP half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade also has a CRISP half stop. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife required NO cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Very recently, my trip to the post office produced this "Deer Foot" pocket knife. This is my first pocket knife, in this "Deer Foot" pattern or style, to be welcomed to the zoo. Actually, it is my FIRST and ONLY (so far) "Deer Foot" pocket knife. It is a JOSEPH HOLLINGER, one blade, one tool (a corkscrew), two tang stamps, 4 5/8" closed, a lanyard hole, "Deer Foot" pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "JOSEPH (over) HOLLINGER" The main blade back tang stamp says, "CECHO (over) SLOWAKIA" The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The corkscrew opens and closes with NO problems. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. I cleaned up the blade a little. I took some pictures and here it is.

This morning, my visit to the post office produced this multi tool pocket knife. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the latest example to be added to my "zoo" collection. It is a MADE IN GERMANY, one blade, four tools (a can opener, a cap lifter or bottle opener, a punch or awl and a corkscrew), one tang stamp, 3 1/2" closed (not including the bail), multi tool, "Deer Head" pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "MADE IN (over) GERMANY" The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The four tools ALL open and close properly, as designed, with no problems at all. Overall, this pocket knife is in GOOD condition. It needed VERY little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Yesterday morning, my trip to the post office produced this "Deer Foot" pocket knife. This is my second pocket knife, in this "Deer Foot" pattern or style, to be posted under this topic or thread and to be welcomed to the zoo. It also became the second "Deer Foot" example to join my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is an ERNST ROMMERSWINKEL, one blade, one tool (a corkscrew), two tang stamps, 5 3/8" closed, lever lock, "Deer Foot" pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp (football shaped) says, "ERNST ROMMERSWINKEL (over) SOLINGEN GERMANY" with "ERO" in the center. The main blade back tang stamp says, "MADE IN (over) GERMANY" My other "Deer Foot" pocket knife was posted, under this topic or thread, back on Thursday, August 8, 2024. This main blade does NOT have a half stop. This main blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. This main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The corkscrew opens and closes with NO problems. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. I just cleaned up the blade a little bit.
I took some pictures and here it is.

A couple of days ago, my visit to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes the latest resident of the zoo. It also became the most recent example to be added to my "South Of The Border" collection. This pocket knife brand is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. However, this specific brand of pocket knife does NOT make an appearance all that often. It is a DOS CIERVOS, two blades (one blade has a cap lifter or bottle opener), one tang stamp, 3 7/8" closed (not including the bail), two springs, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "DOS CIERVOS (over) HECHO EN (over) MEXICO" The main handle side has an image of a deer's head. The other handle side also has the image of a deer's head. DOS CIERVOS translates into English as TWO DEER. HECHO EN MEXICO translates into English as MADE IN MEXICO. This is my second DOS CIERVOS pocket knife. My other DOS CIERVOS pocket knife was posted by me, under this topic or thread, back on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a half stop. The secondary blade does NOT have an opening snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a closing snap. BOTH OF THE BLADES ARE OUT OF ALIGNMENT with the two springs. This pocket knife DEFINITELY needs some serious cleaning. Overall, this pocket knife is still in FAIR condition. If I am able to realign the blades and the springs, also give it a VERY GOOD cleaning, then this pocket knife will be in GOOD condition. Anyway, I took some pictures and here it is.
