Repair cross guards on old ferman lockback.

I’m looking for some one to replace the cross guards thar have been cut off. The lock bar needs repaired also.any help will be appreciated.

It's what I do.
New front bolsters will have to be made. Do you have a picture of how the knife is supposed to look?

I have no idea what they looked like. Could you put something on that would look appropriate?

It appears to have been a shell puller, but further research is needed.

As it turns out I have the same knife, bought it two years ago forgot I had it ::doh::

Here's what your bolster originally looked like, it is not a shell puller.

Bill, it was made that way. Top part is wider and shaped differently than the bottom part, unusual.
