Knife repairs

Post by stayinsharp »

Does anyone on here offer knife repair services.
I have a Bucklite needing a new blade
Also an Uncle Henry needing a new sheep's foot blade

I have contacted Buck and Schrade customer service and now waiting to see if they will fix their products

Buck has a great customer service department!
If you have an American made Uncle Henry, the company that exists now has their knives made in China for the most part. I doubt they have any American made blades left.

There are members here who can repair the American made Uncle Henry's.

Isn't Kaleb - Muskrat Man the factory repair guy for Schrade? Pretty sure he could help you but long waiting list. Others on here could probably put a blade in it sooner.

Generally I am in the shop Monday through Friday. Emails, DM's and private messages received over the weekend will be answered the following business day. Emails are generally answered 2-3 times a day, in the morning, during lunch, and again at the end of the day. Emails recieved after 8 pm EST will be responded to the following business day.

Bill DeShivs repairs Schrade, and just about any other cutlery. He does good work and is a member here, https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... le&u=15108 as is Kaleb. Skilled knife repairmen have plenty of work. They seldom if ever need to chase after jobs. Your best path is to pick a couple or three from those who have posted their work here, and contact them. You can send a PM. If you wait for them to contact you, from my experience you’re likely in for a very long wait.

I have no Schrade slip joint factory parts.
If the customer supplies the proper parts, I can easily install them.
