TMK: thanks. I haven't killed any animals in a lot of years but that knife really puts me in the mood for cold mornings in the fields and woods. J.O'.

Jkb, that is some beautiful looking stag, ::tu:: ::tu:: ... ::hmm:: dark and deep ridges are among my favorite characteristics of a good piece of antler.

Got in a beautiful stag Henckels made by Boker Congress. Bought it for my collection because the stag is so nice on this one, plus I collect Congresses.

Thanks TMK, the stag is what hooked me. Henckels had Boker use some pretty premium stag on their knives. It will go well with a killer Barlow and stockman I have made by Boker for Henckels.

The stag handles are very cool.
Going to add a couple.
Enjoy my dad’s eye for knives.

Found this old WALDEN (1870-1923) Gent's, 3 blade pen in really nice stag and finely threaded bolsters. J.O'.
