I'm a hawk-bill fanatic. Found this old "MADE IN U.S.A.", (Camillus ?/Sears) Not sure if the black blade is factory "Parkerized" or not. I have a military style 4 blade with the same mark and Parkerized black.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
This is interesting. I didn't know there were knives that were parkerized. That's pretty cool. Can i ask to see the 4 blade? Im interested in seeing that so i can compare to typical black patina.Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 11:52 pm I'm a hawk-bill fanatic. Also, I sent one identical to the one posted (and 8 others) to my friend in south Carolina. Currently going through the slog of the "find my mail" process
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

Dog. That's as "cleaned up" as its going to get.
I wipe them down and rub off any loose rust and enjoy the patina. O'.

Does anyone get excited about presentation cases/tins? Is it worth extra dollars to you?

Definitely a collector piece. I have some collector tin knives, but it depends on the interests of the collector.

Tony, you have such a beautiful collection, it might be nice if you took a few classes on photography, so you can take full advantage of said collection..Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 11:36 pm Found these the last two weekends...
