An there ever be too many “sweet“ Barlows? They just keep coming. I must say, I’ve been looking at that B&S “Beer Tender” myself.

Picked up a couple of new Barlows. Both made by Blue Grass Cutlery. A Winchester with what I think is green turquoise and the John Primble has mammoth molar.
Took an updated picture of the Barlow collection, this one includes the spillover collection. Going to be filling up two display cases eventually. Barlows are now the most numerous pattern I collect.

I have recently returned to the Barlow! By way of explanation, When I was a youngster, I was raised by a single mother who didn't approve of me having a knife in my pocket, but I was 8 and had "My Own Money" (I was an active coke/pepsi/sprite...bottle collector and took then in to the grocery store baskets at a time). I started my knife ownership with a toothpick shaped fish knife, but that got confiscated by my mother. So I settled on the Barlows, Imperial, Sabre and such, usually less than $2 at any hardware store or K-mart. I used them hard and my younger brother stole it if I left it out on my dresser or... So I had many Barlows over my child hood. Then I got into other shapes and became more careful with usage and storage of my pocket knives.

I just recently re-discovered my love for the Barlow shape and I picked this one up. A Western...I am predicting that it will be the first of more to come...

Thank you! It is a pleasure to carry, a very solid knife. I did clean up the patina on the blades...Not worried about messing with the collectability...its a keeper. :)
