I'm in a bit of a pickle when it comes to a user Old Timer Stockman, thus I'm sticking with my 89OT Blazer. One of my less common Schrades, but it's got a lot of wear, a tipped main, and (thanks to me years ago) a poorly sharpened Wonda Edge serrated coping blade. I'm going to try seeing if I can get a sharper edge on the serrated blade.


Local guy had an 8OT with a main blade decently reprofiled to Wharncliffe, but I felt $25 was a completely ridiculous price for a beater. If a blade has been reprofiled, it's ten bucks tops for me.

Good idea. A buddy of mine suggested using one for hawkbills, and I've found several when reorganizing the shop.

Also there is the small (4" to 6") knife shaped sharpening stones with the "back" of the stone quite rounded.
Those may be of help.
