Saber Barlow shell-handle conversion

Post by Reverand »

A good friend and coworker requested a Barlow knife with blue handles for an EDC.
I chose this shell-handled Saber with missing plastic handles, then was halfway through with the job before I saw that it was a Saber Ireland knife. I had assumed it was from Japan.
Nothing too crazy on this one, just added brass bolsters in a standard shell conversion, with blue acrylic handles.
I like how it turned out though. I have a bit of the acrylic left, which may find it's way onto some other knives!
Video to follow in a couple of weeks.
