Is this IKCO or something else?

Post by Gr8wazu »

Hello, knife wonks. I've got this beautiful tortoise shell stockman that could easily pass for an Imperial, but it has no tang stamps and the edges seem a bit different than other similar IKCO knives I've owned. Any insight is appreciated.

I would say its a Camillus - very common pattern for them.

The shield looks Camillus to me too.
Are you sure that’s tortoise shell? It looks celluloid to me, including the brown staining of possible off gassing at the edges of the shield and bolsters.

I've got this one as a keepsake that belonged to my brother, it has similarity and is a Colonial.
