A few more recent ones

Post by glennbad »

This first one was a sentimental knife that the owner found while cleaning out their family camp in preparation for selling. The knife (Standard Knife Co.) was a rusty corroded mess. I did the best I could for it...removed any active rust, cleaned up the liners and springs, put some new stag and a diamond shield on. The knife is serviceable now and a great family heirloom. Before and after...

This other one was a Northwoods Heritage Jack. It had some burlap micarta covers from the factory. I found some nice grizzled stag to put on it and reset the arrow shield.

I agree with all the comments about those two knives and the superior quality of your work, Glenn ::nod:: ::tu::
You always find the nicest stag and turn the knives you put it on into beautiful works of art. Always enjoy seeing your work. ::tu::
