Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Regular EDC plus yard work duty:
Collins Boy's Axe, SOG Power Pint, Snap-On PBMS5 Power Blue, Maglite LED Solitaire, Kershaw Leek, and a Bic Band-Aid holder.
Plus a '76 Case 6488 Large Congress.
The Collins was bought for its handle, which appeared new, and it was like ten bucks (half what a handle is locally). Because the head had heavy pitting, I figured I'd just toss it and put on the Kelly boy's axe head I'd had since I was a boy. However, it sharpened up decent, and it's really well balanced. Because of the pitting, I'm not afraid to use it hard like my nicer heads. I did drive wood and steel wedges, however (weird that neither wedge was in the handle it was on).

Nice! I've kept a BOLO for decent American tacticals. Quite often, I find them valued quite low at flea markets--think I paid ten bucks for a SOG Vulcan (Seki-made) earlier this summer. Hopefully, I'll start finding some Benchmade and Spyderco, or even better, an Emerson.

Nice knife, did a double take on that 2nd pic......the reflection made the blades appear to be melting into the desk, I thought that maybe you were using some Salvador Dali like special effects!

Wahoo! Now I can relate to those as EDCs, David.
HOKs are special, maybe it's being an old man, I like old knives.
I mostly carry an old Queen #49, it's NOS twin is in a drawer plus a couple of #49s with imitation Winterbottom handles. Just can't bring myself to use any of them until we loose or break this old one.
