Where Are All The Remington Knife Collectors?

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Here's a rough little Remington. 3 1/8" closed.

I bought it today and will carry it tomorrow.

I cleaned it some and filed the tip of the spear to get it in the blade well.
I can't read the model number. Does anyone know what this is? 1935 - 1940
It's still a respectable knife. ::nod:: $10. What's not to like?

You are right, what's not to like and a good deal. Love that handle material pattern. Celluloid? Looks like R2035

That one is a real looker. Mine is pretty scruffy.

Sorry, I missed this impost.
Glad you liked the knife. I'm not sure of the cover material.

::tu:: Last call before these get sold elsewhere: https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/ca ... diate-sale

These would proudly display your Remington’s and keep your wife happy that it isn’t a large countertop display
